The Bible teaches that the Devil is very real. Sin is not just trying and falling short. There are people out there who commit evil because they love hurting people.

What I would challenge you to do is to investigate the evidence for the Christian Faith. This includes the evidence from Creation and the evidence for the Resurrection.
